TECHNOLOGY
The technology the business needs, chosen on fit, cost and risk, deployed against a number, and reviewed every quarter.
Map needs, match tools, deploy, review. The program starts from the workflows and metrics the Diagnostic put on the table, not from a product. We map what the business needs, match tools on fit, cost and risk, plan the deployment inside the systems you already run, and review the stack on a fixed quarterly cycle. We are technology agnostic. We recommend tools on fit and cost, build on the systems you already run where they work, and tell you when the answer is not new software.
The outcome
What changes when the program runs.
A stack chosen on evidence
Each tool selected against the workflow it serves, the baseline it must move, its total cost over the contract and the operational and data risk it brings, with the alternatives considered on record.
Deployed against a metric
Every deployment starts from a baseline number, with a stop criterion if the tool does not beat it, so software is judged the way any other investment is.
Works in your systems
Agents, automation and integrations run inside the ERP, CRM, EHR or practice-management, custodial and document systems you already have, with the controls a regulated or PE-backed business expects.
Reviewed every quarter
The stack re-read each quarter against usage, cost and results: what to extend, what to renegotiate, what to retire, and what the market now offers that it did not.
Capabilities
What the work covers.
01
Needs mapping
The workflows, data and decisions a tool must serve, written down with the owner and the metric before any vendor conversation starts.
02
Market scan and tool matching
Candidate tools, including the ones you already license, assessed on fit to the workflow, total cost, data residency, security posture, vendor stability and exit terms, with the alternatives shown.
03
Build-versus-buy decisions
Where an existing system can do the job with configuration, where a product fits, and where a scoped build is the cheaper answer, each with its cost and risk stated.
04
Deployment and integration
Configuration, integration through APIs and, where no API exists, tightly scoped automation into ERP, EHR and practice-management, custodial and CRM platforms, with a controlled go-live.
05
Governance and audit trail
Role-based access, approval steps, input and output logging, and vendor and model documentation for your risk, compliance and quality reviews.
06
Evaluation and monitoring
Test sets built from your real cases, accuracy and exception tracking in production, and alerts when quality, cost or usage drifts.
07
Quarterly stack review
Usage, cost, results and contract terms reviewed each quarter with leadership, with a short list of changes and a market update on what has moved.
How it works
From baseline to measured result.
Each phase reports against the baseline agreed at the start, so progress is read in your own numbers.
Weeks 1–2
Map needs
The workflows, decisions and data the business needs served, with the owner, the baseline metric and the controls required, agreed with the process owner and finance.
Workflow scope · Baseline metric · Controls · Owner sign-off
Weeks 3–4
Match tools on fit, cost and risk
Candidate tools and the systems you already run assessed side by side on fit, total cost, data and security risk and exit terms; a recommendation with the alternatives considered and any Ometz commercial interest disclosed in writing.
Market scan · Fit, cost and risk scoring · Build-versus-buy · Disclosure in writing
Weeks 5–10
Deploy
Configured, integrated and evaluated against test cases drawn from your real work, then live on a limited scope with human review, monitoring and rollback in place before the scope widens.
Configuration · Integration · Evaluation set · Controlled go-live
Every quarter
Review the stack
Usage, cost and results read against the baseline; contract and renewal decisions made; the market re-scanned for what has changed; the backlog re-ranked by value. On a retainer.
Usage and cost review · Results vs baseline · Market update · Backlog re-ranked
Engagement models
How to engage.
Scope, fee, team and deliverables are agreed in writing before work starts.
Fixed-scope deployment · AFTER THE DIAGNOSTIC
One need, one tool, one metric
Needs mapped, tools matched and one deployment taken live against a baseline, scoped after the Performance Diagnostic or inside another program.
- Baseline and stop criterion agreed up front
- Tool recommendation with alternatives shown
- Evaluation against your real cases
- Controls, audit trail and full handover
Quarterly stack review
The stack reviewed on a retainer
Each quarter: usage, cost and results against baseline, contract and renewal decisions, and a read of what has changed in the market, with the deployment backlog re-ranked by value.
- Quarterly usage, cost and results review
- Renewal and retirement decisions
- Market update on what has moved
- Backlog re-ranked by value
How we are paid
We share the risk of the plan we write.
Every program is measured against the baseline set in the Diagnostic. Where the work allows, we put part of our fee at risk against the targets we agree with you. If those measures do not move, that part is not invoiced. A plan we would not be paid on is not a plan we should sell.

Technology Strategy FAQ
We are technology agnostic. We recommend tools on fit and cost, build on the systems you already run where they work, and tell you when the answer is not new software. Where we resell a product or receive a referral fee, we tell you before you decide, and we show you the alternatives we considered.
Because the market moves faster than any annual plan. The research cited on this page counts thousands of newly funded AI companies in a single year and tens of thousands of tools in one directory. No leadership team can evaluate that market alone, and a tool chosen well eighteen months ago may now cost more or do less than the alternatives. The review keeps the stack matched to what the business needs.
Often not. The mapping stage frequently shows that a system you already license can do the job with configuration, or that a process or data fix moves the number without any new tool. When new software is the answer, we say which, why, and what else we considered.
By scoping small and measuring: one workflow, one metric, a baseline before anything is deployed and a stop criterion if the tool does not beat it. The research cited on this page shows how few organizations scale AI; tying every deployment to a number is how we avoid that pattern.
Least-privilege access, data kept in environments you approve, and logging of what each tool reads and writes. We sign a BAA where we handle PHI and support your vendor-security, third-party-risk and model-risk reviews with documentation. Where your policy requires a specific third-party attestation, we address it during scoping, including deploying inside your own cloud tenancy under your controls.
We deploy tools that draft and assemble; your Quality Unit reviews, approves and signs. We do not perform computer-system validation or describe any tool as validated, so where validation is required it stays with your validation owners.
Yes. Configuration, integrations, prompts, evaluation sets and runbooks are documented and handed over, running in your environment or one you control, with vendor contracts in your name.

Find out where performance is being lost, and what it is worth to fix.
The Performance Diagnostic runs for two to four weeks at a fixed fee and ends with a baseline, three priced improvement plays and a 90-day plan. The findings are yours whether or not we continue.
