Ometz Partners

We cut through the AI noise for private equity’s health and wellness buy-and-builds.

We tell sponsors and portfolio CEOs which AI to adopt and which to ignore, then do the work inside the platform and its add-ons, measured against the deal case. The partner who scopes the engagement delivers it.

The noise

Heard of the agent platform your board mentioned last week? Or the one that replaced it this week?

Keeping up is close to impossible, and it is not the job. The job is to decide what is worth adopting in a company like yours, deploy the few things that fit, and show the value in your own numbers.

We are technology agnostic. We recommend tools on fit and cost, build on the systems you already run where they work, and say so when the answer is not new software.

Why this focus

A firm that claims every sector cannot tell signal from noise either.

We work through private equity because sponsors buy outcomes on a clock: a value-creation plan with a baseline, owners and a date. That is how we work anyway, and one method can run across a portfolio instead of being reinvented company by company.

We go deep in health and wellness because the partners have spent their careers inside its value chain, from chemicals and ingredients through pharma services and consumer health to the multi-site platforms that deliver care. That depth lets a diagnostic find the money in weeks rather than months, and keeps us out of clinical decisions that are not ours to make.

Our specialty is buy-and-build, where the mid-market creates and loses the most value. A platform and its add-ons are integrated against the deal case, with value capture measured rather than assumed. Technology earns its place in that plan on fit, cost and risk.

How the technology work runs

Fewer tools, chosen on fit, cost and risk, and reviewed every quarter.

The same cycle runs in every program. We tell you when the answer is not new software, and where we resell a product or receive a referral fee, we say so before you decide.

How an engagement starts

Every engagement starts with a Diagnostic. What follows depends on what it finds.

All services

01 · The front door

Performance Diagnostic

Two to four weeks at a fixed fee, agreed in writing. Senior operators work from your own systems and people: revenue, margin, cost-to-serve, cycle time and cash, reconciled to the P&L. You leave with three improvement plays, each priced with its value, cost and risk, and a 90-day plan. The findings are yours whether or not we continue.

For sponsors, the Portfolio Diagnostic runs the same method and metric definitions across several portfolio companies, so baselines can be compared and plays ranked.

How the Diagnostic works

02 · If the plan needs an owner

A fractional or interim seat

Fractional on a monthly retainer, interim for a defined term, or a sprint of about ninety days. Ometz Partners is the accountable partner in the seat, and you meet the person before anything is signed.

03 · If the thesis is buy-and-build

Buy-and-build support

Integration for the platform and each add-on: systems, workflows, pricing and people, tracked against the deal case from the first hundred days.

Programs, scoped and priced after the Diagnostic

Why Ometz Partners

The rigor of a strategy firm, with the structure changed.

Why Ometz, in full

The partner who sells delivers.

The person you meet in scoping leads the Diagnostic, runs the program and reports against the targets agreed at the start. Fixed fee and priced plays, for companies between $20M and $500M in revenue and the sponsors behind them.

We share the risk of the plan we write.

Every program is measured against the baseline set in the Diagnostic. Where the work allows, we put part of our fee at risk against the targets we agree with you. If those measures do not move, that part is not invoiced.

Technology agnostic, and open about it.

We match tools on fit, cost and risk, and review the stack on a fixed cycle. Where we resell a product or receive a referral fee, we tell you before you decide, and show you the alternatives we considered.

Measured against your own baseline.

Progress is reported from the baseline the Diagnostic set, from sources you can audit. The figures on this site are cited market benchmarks. We publish no client numbers, logos or testimonials.

The Performance Radar

Fourteen questions on whether the business is ready to put AI to work.

Seven dimensions, from strategy and data to governance and culture. A self-assessment that shows where to look first. The measured baseline, taken from your own systems, comes from the Performance Diagnostic.

Questions

The questions buyers ask first.

CEOs, COOs, CFOs and private equity operating partners at companies between roughly $20M and $500M in revenue, and the sponsors behind them. We work through private equity, across a sponsor's portfolio and inside individual portfolio companies. Our depth is health and wellness, along the value chain from chemicals and ingredients through pharma services and consumer health to food and beverage, and in multi-site care platforms such as DSOs, home health and MSOs. Our specialty is buy-and-build, which is also how we work in financial services: with PE-backed roll-ups in wealth management, broker-dealers, RIA aggregation and CPA and advisory platforms.

Next step

Find out where performance is being lost, and what it is worth to fix.

אומץOmetz is Hebrew for courage. Progress starts with seeing what matters clearly, and with the nerve to act on it.

The Performance Diagnostic runs for two to four weeks at a fixed fee and ends with a baseline, three priced improvement plays and a 90-day plan. The findings are yours whether or not we continue.
